Terminal Container Athus (TCA) is a specialist in the rail and road transport of maritime containers between the North Sea ports and the Sarre-Lorraine-Luxembourg region.
Our trains directly serve the 5 main maritime docks in Antwerp port: 730-869-913-1700-1742. Containers are unloaded directly from the boat and onto the train here.
For the other destinations in Antwerp, Zeebrugge or Rotterdam, the containers are transferred by barge or lorry to these 5 docks.
TCA uses the services of B-Logistics for running its trains between Antwerp port and Athus station, at a weekly rate of 8 to 10 return trains, which enables a good transport flow to the end client. TCA has its own locomotive to carry out the "last mile" between the station and the terminal.
Containers are either transferred by lorry to the end client using a large fleet of lorries, or unloaded or stuffed directly in our depots.
TCA has a significant fleet of subcontractor lorries to ensure the transporting of containers.
Most of the largest sea freight companies have opened an official depot in Athus, facilitating the fulfilment of one way transportations, a source of saving when transporting import or export.
